Youth Drop-in soccer program

 

CABTAS is facilitating drop-in soccer program for Bhutanese youths. The program is offered by the Catholic Centre for Immigrants (CCI). The CCI has been a huge support to our community, providing resources and services to us from time to time.

 

CABTAS members have been supervising the program. It is held at Charles H. Hulse Public school, Ottawa. The drop-in is open every Monday for a duration of 2 hours.

One of the main goals for this program is to engage Bhutanese youths and increase their community involvement through soccer. We further aim to boost up youths’ self-esteem and promote socialization through soccer. We are confident that this program will provide a space for youths to build their leadership skills and teamwork as well. It is a wonderful opportunity for youths to stay active during winter seasons, and build up their motor skills.
