A team led by Kwangsin Kim from OKCC handed over 88 gift packages to Brian Khadka at 51 Corley Pvt. Ottawa for distributions to Bhutanese Nepali Children on August 29, 2020. Each packet had the name tag of each student containing good quality face masks and hand sanitizer. In addition, each student had a folder file attached to a gift. The gifts were arranged according to the list of students handed over to them earlier based on their age groups in the given categories:
Age 4-6; Age 7-9; Age 10-13 and Age 14-17 respectively.
The parents/guardians and bigger children were called at different timings on August 30 and 31, 2020, to hand over the items. All of them received the gifts excitedly with their face masks on, with notes of deep appreciation and profound gratitude to Ottawa Korean Community Church (OKCC).
OKCC has been providing gifts to the Bhutanese Nepali Children two times a year (the Christmas gifts & back to school supplies) for more than seven years.
Canadian Bhutanese Association (CABTAS), Ottawa, would like to extend special thanks to Ottawa Korean Community Church (OKCC) for their continued support and love shared to the Bhutanese Nepali Community and our children.
Thank you OKCC
